TALEs  From heritage to imagination – Traditional Art and Digital Learning for Intergenerational Exchanges through Storytelling

Number : 2025-1-FR01-KA210-ADU-000354172

Dates 01/12/2025 – 01/03/2027
Description

The project aims to revitalize traditional and folk arts as powerful storytelling tools by fostering intergenerational dialogue and mutual learning. It brings together M3Cube (France), leading on digital innovation and intergenerational engagement, and Rumi Kunst Instituut (Netherlands), contributing expertise in traditional arts and cultural heritage preservation. Through their collaboration, the project encourages seniors and younger participants to share personal and cultural narratives, blending traditional artistic techniques with modern digital tools.

The initiative enhances digital literacy by training participants to use accessible technologies to create, document, and disseminate their stories. A dedicated digital platform will showcase collaborative artworks, oral histories, and multimedia storytelling outputs, making them widely accessible.

The project also provides structured training materials and workshop plans that support storytelling through both traditional and digital methods. By integrating storytelling, artistic practices, and digital innovation, the project promotes cultural exchange, strengthens intergenerational connections, and ensures that shared heritage is preserved and reinterpreted in engaging, contemporary ways.
